Account Registration
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- Minimum age: To open an Account and use the Services you must be at least 18 years old and of legal gambling age under the laws of your country or territory of residence. For UK Residents, this means you must be 18+.
- Legal capacity: You must have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with the Operator. You may not use the Services on behalf of another person, company, or entity.
- Jurisdictional responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that it is lawful for you to use the Services under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction (including the UK). The Operator does not hold a licence from the UK Gambling Commission and is supervised instead by Gaming Curaçao. By registering, you acknowledge that you are choosing to use an offshore, non-UK-licensed service and that UK-specific regulatory protections do not apply.
Account Creation Process
- Registration: To create an Account, you must complete the online registration form, provide accurate personal information (such as your full name, date of birth, country of residence, email address, and contact details), and confirm your acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy.
- Email verification: The Operator may require you to verify your email address by clicking a confirmation link. Until verification is completed, your ability to place Bets, receive Bonuses, or make withdrawals may be limited.
- Single account rule: Each Player may register only one Account. Multiple accounts, including through aliases, different email addresses, or use of VPNs to disguise identity or location, are strictly prohibited and may lead to closure of all related accounts and forfeiture of funds associated with abuse.
KYC, AML and Source of Funds
- Verification duties: The Operator will conduct KYC and AML checks both at registration and on an ongoing basis, in line with its AML & KYC Policy at https://thunderp.bet/aml-policy. You may be required at any time up to and including 31 December 2025 and thereafter to provide documents such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, payment method ownership evidence, and source-of-funds/source-of-wealth information.
- Suspension for non-cooperation: If you do not provide requested information or documents, or if they are incomplete, unclear, or suspected to be fraudulent, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, freeze balances, and withhold withdrawals until the matter is resolved, subject to applicable law.
- Data checks: You authorise the Operator to make inquiries and conduct checks with third-party providers and databases to verify your identity, age, residence, and payment methods. These checks may include electronic identity verification and screening against sanctions and politically exposed person lists.
User Obligations and Account Security
- Accuracy of data: You must ensure that all information you provide is truthful, complete, and kept up to date. Any changes to your personal details (including address, payment methods, and email) must be promptly updated in your Account profile or communicated to the Operator.
- Password and access: You must keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account, whether or not authorised by you, unless the Operator has failed to implement reasonable security measures.
- Third-party use: You must not allow any other person, including family members, co-workers, or minors, to access or use your Account. You must not sell, transfer, or pledge your Account to any other person.
- Responsible gambling: You should only gamble with funds you can afford to lose and should regularly review your play. If you experience gambling-related harm, you are strongly encouraged to stop using the Services and request account closure or self-exclusion by contacting [email protected] with "Self Exclusion" in the subject line. Note that the Operator is not integrated with UK-wide schemes such as GAMSTOP, and self-exclusion applies only to your Account with the Operator.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
Placing Bets and Gameplay Mechanics
- Offer and acceptance: Odds and game rules displayed on the Website constitute an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. A Bet is deemed accepted only when it is recorded on the Operator's servers and appears in your betting history. At that point, the Bet becomes final and cannot be cancelled by you.
- Minimum and maximum stakes: Each market, game, or event has its own minimum and maximum stakes as displayed on the Website at the time you place a Bet. The Operator may adjust limits at any time for risk management reasons. Attempts to exceed maximum limits may result in partial acceptance or rejection of the Bet.
- Game and market rules: Each game and betting market is governed by its specific rules as shown in the game client or rules section. Where no specific rule is stated, generally accepted industry practices apply. In the event of conflict, the specific game rules prevail over these general Terms.
- Time of settlement: Bets are settled based on the official results or outcomes determined by the relevant event organiser or game provider. The Operator may delay settlement to verify the result or investigate potential integrity issues.
Cancellation, Errors and Malfunctions
- Palpable errors: If a Bet is accepted at clearly incorrect odds or conditions due to a technical or human error (a "palpable error"), the Operator may void the Bet or settle it at the correct odds that should have applied. A palpable error is one that a reasonably experienced Player would recognise as obviously incorrect.
- Event cancellation: If an event on which you have placed a Bet is cancelled, voided, or not completed in accordance with the applicable market rules, affected Bets may be voided and stakes returned, unless otherwise specified in the market rules.
- Technical malfunctions: If a game or betting market is affected by a technical malfunction (including misconfigured odds, incorrect game behaviour, or interrupted gameplay), the Operator may void affected Bets, roll back game states to the last confirmed state, or otherwise correct the error. Winnings derived from malfunctions may be voided, and stakes may be returned, in line with regulatory and licensing requirements.
Conduct, Fair Play and Chat Rules
- Prohibited behaviour: You must not engage in any form of cheating, collusion, exploitation of software bugs, match-fixing, use of automated betting bots (unless explicitly allowed), multi-accounting, or any other activity that gives you or others an unfair advantage or undermines the integrity of the Services.
- Chat conduct: In any live casino or game chat you must behave respectfully and must not post content that is insulting, offensive, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate. You must not promote other gambling operators, solicit funds, advertise products, or share links that are illegal, harmful, or unrelated to the game.
- Fraud and suspicious activity: The Operator monitors gameplay and transactions for suspicious patterns (including for AML and responsible gambling reasons). If the Operator reasonably suspects fraud, money laundering, or other unlawful activity, it may suspend or close your Account, freeze balances, and notify relevant authorities or regulators.
- Responsible betting: You should set personal limits on your gambling, where such tools are available on the Website, and take breaks from play. For UK Residents, note that not all UK-mandated tools (such as UKGC-required reality checks or mandatory cooling-off periods) are available because the Operator is licensed in Curaçao, not by the UK Gambling Commission.
Bonus Terms
General Bonus Conditions
- Acceptance of bonus rules: By claiming or accepting any Bonus or Promotion, you agree to these Bonus Terms as well as any additional terms communicated in the specific promotional description. In case of inconsistency, the specific promotional terms prevail.
- Eligibility: Bonuses are generally limited to one per person, household, IP address, device, and payment method, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Operator may exclude certain Players or segments (for example, due to risk or AML considerations) from receiving Bonuses.
- Real money vs Bonus money: Unless otherwise stated, wagers are usually placed using Real Money Balance first, then Bonus Balance. The exact order of debiting balances is described in the relevant bonus or promotion page and may be updated from time to time during 2025.
Wagering Requirements and Timeframes
- Wagering requirements: Most Bonuses are subject to wagering requirements (for example, 30x the bonus amount, 30x the deposit plus bonus amount, or another multiple stated in the offer). You must satisfy the applicable requirement within the time limit specified in the offer before you may withdraw Bonus-related funds.
- Time limits: Bonuses and free bets may expire if the wagering requirement is not completed within the timeframe specified in the offer (for example, within 7, 14, or 30 days from crediting, but never earlier than the deadline stated for the relevant 2025 promotion). Upon expiry, unused Bonuses and associated winnings may be forfeited.
- Contribution of games: Not all games contribute equally towards wagering. Certain games may contribute a reduced percentage or be excluded entirely. The contribution table or list of restricted games will be provided in the bonus-specific terms and may be updated periodically.
Prohibited Bonus Practices
- Abusive strategies: The following practices are prohibited and may lead to removal of Bonuses and associated winnings, and potentially Account closure:
- placing low-risk or equal-opposite bets (for example, betting both sides of the same event) solely to unlock Bonuses;
- using multiple Accounts to claim the same Bonus more than once;
- deliberately delaying game rounds or manipulating features (such as free spins or gamble features) to benefit from pending bonuses;
- depositing and withdrawing repeatedly to trigger bonus or cashback loops.
- Irregular play: Betting patterns that are inconsistent with normal recreational play and are primarily designed to satisfy wagering requirements with minimal risk may be treated as bonus abuse. The Operator will assess such patterns objectively and fairly, using documented criteria.
- Bonus stacking: Unless explicitly allowed, Promotions cannot be combined or "stacked". You may have only one active welcome or deposit Bonus at a time, and claiming a new Bonus may result in forfeiture of an existing Bonus if stated in the promotion terms.
Bonus Adjustment and Cancellation
- Right to modify: The Operator may alter, suspend, or cancel any Promotion or Bonus, including for the Thunder Pick audience, provided that such changes do not adversely affect Bonuses already accepted and used in accordance with the applicable terms without giving Players a reasonable opportunity to comply or opt out.
- Errors and misuse: If a Bonus is credited due to an error or technical issue, or obtained in breach of these Terms, the Operator may remove the Bonus and any associated winnings from your Account. Real-money deposits will not be confiscated solely because of an internal error.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposit Methods and Processing
- Supported methods: The Website may allow deposits via bank cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and, where lawful and supported, cryptocurrencies or other alternative payment methods. Available methods for UK Residents may differ from those offered in other countries.
- Payment processing: Deposits may be processed by the Payment Processor, Paloma Media Ltd (Cyprus, Reg. No. HE 435063), or by other authorised payment service providers acting on behalf of the Operator. Your card or bank statement may show Paloma Media Ltd or a similar descriptor.
- Limits and fees: Minimum and maximum deposit limits, and any applicable fees, are displayed on the Website during the deposit process. The Operator does not charge hidden deposit fees, but your bank, card issuer, or wallet provider may apply its own charges or currency conversion fees.
- Availability of funds: Deposits are usually credited to your Account immediately, but delays can occur due to banking or network issues. The Operator is not liable for delays caused by third-party payment providers, but will take reasonable steps to assist you in resolving them.
Withdrawal Methods and Conditions
- Withdrawal channels: Withdrawals are, where possible, processed back to the same payment method used for deposit, in line with AML and card scheme rules. If this is not feasible, the Operator may offer alternative methods that meet AML requirements.
- Verification before payout: Before processing withdrawals, particularly in 2025 and beyond, the Operator may require full completion of KYC/AML checks. This may include verification of identity, address, payment method ownership, and source of funds. Failure to provide information may lead to delays or refusal of the withdrawal, subject to applicable law.
- Processing times: The Operator aims to review withdrawal requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 72 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. Actual receipt of funds depends on third-party payment providers and may take additional time. Indicative timelines are shown in the cashier section.
- Limits and fees: Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts and any processing fees are shown on the Website. The Operator may apply cumulative withdrawal limits over daily, weekly, or monthly periods for risk and compliance reasons. Any such limits will be applied transparently and in accordance with the Operator's obligations.
Currency, Crypto and Financial Protections
- Account currency: Your Account may be denominated in one or more supported fiat currencies or crypto units, as indicated on the Website. Currency conversions, if any, are made at rates communicated via the payment interface and may include a conversion fee charged by payment providers.
- Crypto-related risks: Where cryptocurrencies are accepted, the value of your deposits and withdrawals can fluctuate significantly due to market volatility. Bets are usually denominated in a reference value (for example, an equivalent fiat value), and the Operator is not responsible for gains or losses caused solely by exchange rate movements.
- No UK client money protection: Player funds are not held in a UK-regulated client account and are not protected by the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme or other UK-specific financial safeguard schemes. The Operator nevertheless takes reasonable steps to segregate player funds in line with its Curaçao licensing requirements.
Refunds, Chargebacks and Reversals
- Deposits and refunds: Once a deposit has been used for betting or gameplay, it is normally non-refundable. In exceptional cases (for example, clear technical errors), the Operator may, at its discretion and subject to AML rules, agree to a refund of unused deposited funds.
- Chargebacks: You must not initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting the Operator to attempt to resolve the issue. Unjustified chargebacks may result in Account suspension, recovery of amounts due, and reporting to relevant authorities.
- Reversal of winnings: If funds, Bonuses, or winnings are credited to your Account in error or in breach of these Terms, the Operator may reverse such credits, adjust balances, or reclaim amounts paid, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's Obligations
- Service provision: The Operator will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with its Curaçao licence conditions and applicable laws, taking into account that it does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence.
- Fairness of games: Games offered on the Website are provided by reputable third-party suppliers and are intended to operate fairly and in line with industry standards. The Operator implements technical and organisational measures to ensure that game outcomes are random and not manipulated.
- Accuracy of information: The Operator endeavours to ensure that event details, odds, and other information displayed on the Website are accurate. However, occasional errors may occur, and the consequences of such errors are addressed under these Terms (including the Betting & Gameplay Rules).
Exclusions and Limitations
- Technical failures: The Operator is not liable for any loss arising from technical failures, interruptions, delays, or malfunctions of the Website, games, or communication networks, provided it has taken reasonable steps to maintain a stable and secure service and the issue is not caused by its gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Indirect and consequential loss: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage, including loss of profits, business, or data, arising out of your use of the Services.
- Maximum compensation: In any case where the Operator is found liable to you in relation to a particular Bet, game round, or transaction, its liability is limited to: (a) the amount of the Stake on the Bet in question, or (b) where the claim does not relate to a specific Bet, the lesser of your net deposits to the Account over the 30 days preceding the relevant incident and EUR 2,000 (or currency equivalent), unless mandatory law requires a higher limit.
- Responsible gambling and financial risk: You are solely responsible for your gambling decisions and for ensuring that you do not stake money you cannot afford to lose. The Operator is not responsible for your gambling behaviour, financial circumstances, or tax obligations, subject to any duties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Non-UK regulatory protections: Because the Operator is licensed in Curaçao and not by the UK Gambling Commission, you do not benefit from UKGC supervision, UK-approved alternative dispute resolution schemes such as IBAS, or UK-specific safer gambling measures mandated for UK-licensed operators.
Non-Excludable Rights
- Statutory protections: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by the Operator's negligence, and any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law, including, where applicable, UK consumer law.
- Fair treatment: Where a limitation or exclusion of liability in these Terms is found unenforceable, the provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership of Content and Software
- Operator's IP: All intellectual property rights in the Website and the Services, including but not limited to software, source code, databases, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names (including "Thunder Pick"), text, images, audio, video, and other content, are owned by the Operator or its licensors.
- Limited licence: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, subject to these Terms.
Prohibited Uses
- Copying and distribution: You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly display, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or its software without the prior written consent of the Operator, except where expressly permitted by law.
- Automated access: You must not use any robot, scraper, spider, crawler, or other automated means to access the Website or extract data for any purpose, unless such use is expressly authorised in writing.
- Third-party rights: You must not use the Website in any way that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of the Operator, its licensors, or any third party.
Privacy & Data Protection
Processing of Personal Data
- Privacy Policy: Your personal data is collected and processed by the Operator as data controller in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You should review the Privacy Policy carefully before using the Services.
- Legal bases and purposes: Personal data is processed for purposes including account registration, KYC/AML checks, payment processing, fraud prevention, responsible gambling monitoring, and service improvement, based on legal obligations, contractual necessity, and the Operator's legitimate interests, and, where applicable, your consent.
International Transfers and Rights
- Cross-border transfers: Because the Operator is established in Curaçao and uses service providers in various countries (including Cyprus and potentially locations outside the UK and EEA), your data may be transferred internationally. The Operator will implement appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection laws.
- Your rights: You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Details of how to exercise these rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
Updates and Notification
- Right to amend: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, technological developments, or the Services provided to the Thunder Pick audience.
- Notice of changes: Material changes will be communicated by one or more of the following methods: posting the updated Terms on the Website with a revised "effective from" date (not earlier than the date of publication in 2025), displaying a notification banner or pop-up at login, and/or sending an email to the address registered to your Account.
Acceptance of Updated Terms
- Ongoing use: By continuing to use the Services after updated Terms take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
- Right to discontinue: If you do not agree with any updated Terms, you must stop using the Services, request closure of your Account, and, where appropriate, withdraw any eligible Real Money Balance. Your continued use after changes have been published will constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by the Player
- Voluntary closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time by contacting customer support at [email protected]. Subject to AML and other legal obligations, the Operator will process closure and, where appropriate, pay out any remaining Real Money Balance.
- Self-exclusion: If you wish to self-exclude from the Services for reasons related to gambling harm, you should contact [email protected] with "Self Exclusion" in the subject line and specify the requested exclusion period. Self-exclusion will apply only to your Account with the Operator and not to other operators or UK-wide schemes.
Suspension and Termination by the Operator
- Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or terminate your Account, restrict access to the Services, or freeze funds where it has reasonable grounds to believe that:
- you have breached these Terms or any game or bonus rules;
- you have provided false, misleading, or incomplete information;
- you are underage, acting on behalf of another person, or your Account is being used by a third party;
- your activity is linked to fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other criminal conduct;
- there are chargebacks or payment disputes in relation to your Account;
- you have engaged in bonus abuse, collusion, or other unfair practices;
- continuing to provide Services to you would present regulatory or legal risk.
- Investigation period: During investigation, the Operator may temporarily freeze your Account, prevent deposits or withdrawals, and request additional information. The Operator aims to conclude investigations within a reasonable timeframe, recognising that complex AML or fraud checks may take longer.
Consequences of Termination
- Balance treatment: Upon termination, any remaining Real Money Balance may be returned to you, subject to deduction of any amounts due to the Operator (for example, chargebacks, fees, or losses arising from breach) and subject to AML, legal, and regulatory requirements. Bonus Balances and associated winnings may be forfeited where termination is based on breach of these Terms or bonus abuse.
- Notice: Where legally required and reasonably practicable, the Operator will notify you by email of the reasons for suspension or termination, except where doing so would compromise legal or regulatory investigations.
- Dormant accounts: If your Account remains inactive for a prolonged period, the Operator may classify it as dormant, apply reasonable administrative rules as set out on the Website, and eventually close it, subject to attempts to contact you and applicable laws governing dormant balances.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable Law
- Primary governing law: These Terms, and your relationship with the Operator, are governed by the laws of Curaçao, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that may apply, including, where applicable, certain UK consumer protection rules.
- Non-UK licensing: The Operator is licensed by Gaming Curaçao under Master License 365/JAZ (sub-license GLH-OCCHKTW0701272021, master license registration number 155557) and is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. As a result, UK-specific regulatory frameworks and redress mechanisms overseen by the UK Gambling Commission, including participation in UK-approved ADR schemes such as IBAS, do not apply to the Services.
Dispute Resolution
- Internal complaints: If you have a complaint, you should first contact customer support at [email protected], providing full details and any supporting evidence. The Operator will investigate your complaint and attempt to resolve it fairly and within a reasonable timeframe.
- Escalation to Gaming Curaçao: If you are not satisfied with the Operator's final response, you may escalate your complaint to Gaming Curaçao (or its designated representative) by contacting [email protected], in accordance with the instructions provided by that authority.
- Court proceedings: Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms may ultimately be brought before the competent courts of Curaçao. Nothing in these Terms prevents you, where mandatory law so provides, from bringing proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
